Woke up at 4.0o AM at his house. 4.00AM!!! I was tired, no doubt, but i was more happy than ever. It's time to set off!! Actually i woke up with really mixed feelings: tiredness, excitement and pain. Why pain you would ask. As usual, it's because of my stomach. But it was a "fruitless" trip to the toilet. Just after we set off, he confirmed with his dad that we were going Beach Road for the bus, and to our horror!, his dad scolded him as he was driving towards Boon Lay. Oh my, so much for being excited.
There was a Thai action flick showing on the boat (yes, i know, at least there's some sort of "entertainment" on board) and it was SO funny, practically everyone was laughing, hard! haha..Their every moves and actions triggers much laughters from all the passengers. But suddenly everyone was leaving their seats, which set me thinking that perhaps you could go outside? And yes, i was right. So we went too, but it was after some of them came back :p
Couldn't rotate it. Oh well..here it goes: This is the 2nd stop: Paya Beach Resort.
We were so tremendously happy and excited as next stop will be Tekkek Village. Mind you, we still had to take a shuttle bus to Berjaya Resort. I read up SO many websites and blogs and yet i did not know about this! ):
Finally we reached after a short 10-15 minute drive. This is the activites centres. We used the right one only for renting bicycles later this evening, and were chased by dozens of monkeys! I asked Alan to take a photo of them as there were at least more than 24 of them. Whoa~ And apparently, we went the wrong way that was the reason why we met them. haha...
The left one was the one we approached for all the snorkeling activities. It was FUN!The gift shop there. Souvenirs were quite expensive here.
He seemed to like my back alot. haha~ this was the 2nd back view of mine already!
I did not like the staff who helped me checked in. She just nod her head at me, suggesting me to go over. But on the account that she was pregnant, i decided not to mention it to Alan. We reached at 1.50pm and was told to come back 30 minutes later as the room "wasn't ready yet". However when we were back from our lunch at 3pm, we were told to wait another 30 minutes as it still "wasn't ready YET"! But apparently we were in a really good mood as this was our holiday so we went into the gift shop for a walk and to cool ourselves with the blasting air-con in there.
This is the picture of Matahari Restaurant, where we recieved our welcome drink (it was only a small cup of fruit punch) and had our lunch here.We ordered two bowls of Wild Mushroom Soup for RM11/bowl, Alan had his Fish & Chips (the fish was really tender and fresh and juicy! yummy!!) at RM28, and a Giant Chicken Hotdog for RM21. The hotdog was okay. Normal cheesy hotdog we get back here in Singapore, only difference was that it was really bigger and longer. Total cost: RM71. hahah~
And off we went to our room. I brought my foaming bath and did not get the chance to use it at all (there wasn't any bathtub)! I was so "sadded" by that. But oh well, the room was nice and spacious anyway.
On our way to the room. The service was good though. They offered to drive us there.
So here we are. I couldn't upload the video ): anyways, there were more photos taken. We had the upper floor, which was what i had requested ^^ Our room key.
Breakfast Vouchers for free daily breakfasts at Sri Nelayan Restaurant.
That's me with my Milo can. haha...
Alan looking so relaxed. :p
That's us cycling back to the resort after being chased by the monkeys! LOL~ See, he took such an ugly shot of me. Like some fat dumb-ass on a bicycle! oh my... hahahaha~
And look at him. (You gotta pay back, i promised!)
That's quite all for day one. We went for dinner at Fortune Courtyard for a BBQ buffet for RM80/pax! It was expensive, yeah, especially when there weren't much food. Alan ordered an additional Tropical Punch which cost another RM14. That makes RM174. Boy, am i glad that there was no GST and service charge! haha...
That's me cam-whoring while he's fast asleep. There were quite a few selective channels which i was quite surprised. But for this whole trip, 70% of the time we spent on TV we watched Cartoon Network. Could you believe it? Well, Alan really LOVES cartoon. ~_~
Bought the snorkeling package at RM80/pax for six sites. There was a package for RM60 but that's only for four sites. Obviously we took the first one. (:
Day 2 was fun. With snorkeling coming in. Watch out! *beaming*
